On September 18th, the Polaris Music Prize will be announcing the winner of this year’s prize at the Carlu in Toronto. This year’s gala will include performances from Short List Nominees Lisa LeBlanc, Lido Pimienta, Tanya Tagaq, Lief Vollebekk, and Weaves.
As always, this year’s best Canadian album will be judged solely on artistic merit without consideration of genre or record sales.

Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa
and Halifax Pop Explosion have been community connection points in Ottawa and Halifax for many years. Their programs have empowered and helped many young people to learn how to play sports, to read, and discover music in a safe and barrier-free environment.
