Community Kickoffs with Megaphono!

Geoff Aucoin Community

Community is a huge pillar of our company culture at Lixar – giving back is something we take to heart, and try to incorporate into our day to day as much as we can. We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be supporting Mega-music and mega-community events during Megaphono:

Boys&Girls-Club-MegaphonoWe’re kicking off the Megaphono music festival and conference with the Lixar Unplugged Series, which supports creativity through music on the Lixar stage. The goal is to create a space where listeners can turn off their phones and unplug. All proceeds for the Lixar unplugged series will go to help support the Kids Help Phone.

Local musician Kimberly Sunstrum will be performing at the Lixar Unplugged event. In addition, she and City Fidelia a local and international known hip hop artist will be sharing their time to perform at the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa. The concert is exclusively for the boys and girls at the McGahn clubhouse, which provides a barrier-free environment for kids to connect in a safe, supportive space.

We’re really proud to be able to support Megaphono, the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, the Kids Help Phone and the emerging music in our community. If you’re in Ottawa from February 7th-9th, you can’t find a better way to spend your evening than taking in the local music scene.
