Halifax Pop Explosion

Music Clouds are swirling in Halifax!

Weather-wise, the month of October is always unpredictable in Halifax! Sunny, warm, chilly, wind, and swirling clouds – or blue skies with puffy white clouds. HPX music veterans are however always prepared for whatever mother nature brings during the most exciting festival of the year: Halifax Pop Explosion, October 20-24.

The vets know the sign, when music clouds are swirling, a monumental music experience is about to take place!

So mark your calendar and wear your wellies cause Lixar’s presenting Cleveland based Cloud Nothings — a band guaranteed to give a gale force performance at VENUE X TBD on SAID DATE and TIME.

It will be a music experience that will blow you away.

Cloud Nothings was founded in a Cleveland basement, the one-man recording project of Dylan Baldi, an unassuming, then 18-year-old student of song with a breathtaking ear for melody. Prolific from the start, Baldi’s early work was rough but immediate: crudely recorded, spring-loaded spasms of Buzzcocks-informed pop that quickly found an online following among the lo-fi-inclined.

PS– We’re counting on you … literally.

For every Cloud Nothings enthusiast who attends the Lixar Presents show, a dollar will be given to MusiCounts – a program supporting music in Halifax area schools.
