We all agree that it has been a tough go since March. However, it has reminded us of how important community, music and Canadian culture is, and how we need to work together to be supportive and resilient.
On June 18, Lixar hosted the first ever Lixar Community Day 2020 – Virtual-style. Many thanks to our speakers, musicians and attendees who shared their time with us to discuss important issues like how technology can help to move us forward, how music heals, how we can tackle problems together. At Lixar, we are proud to be Canadian and we are always open to new ideas and discussions that move innovation and human dialogue forward in a positive way. We’d like to give a shout out to Kevin Peesker, President – Microsoft, Adam Joiner, CEO Ottawa Boys and Girls Club, Tim Baker, Formerly of Hey Rosetta, City Fidelia, Ottawa Artist and Creator of Real House of Ensemble and Maddy MacKenzie, Lixar Healthy Living Ambassador for joining the fun.
Thank you to everyone who donated through the Donative and We’ll Deliver a Donair program supporting the BGC in Halifax and Ottawa.
Thank you to the King of Donair and Centre Town East Coast Donair in Ottawa for creating these delish beauties for us and delivering them for a good cause.
The Boys and Girls Club is a safe, respectful, barrier-free environment where boys and girls can grow to reach their goals. We are honoured to support them.
